Strawberries with Balsamic Vinegar and Red Wine (serves 4)
1 pint Strawberries
2 TBSP Sugar
1 TBSP Red wine
11/2 tsps. Balsamic vinegar
1/2 tsp. Lemon juice
Rinse the strawberries and remove stems. Cut the large berries in half. Sprinkle sugar over berries, toss and refrigerate 1 hour.
In a small bowl, combine wine, vinegar and lemon juice. Pour liquid over strawberries and mix well before serving.
